Gold Litter was a breeding of our very special girl "Cricket",
who came to us from Janice and Rich Hovelmann of Sanorka Kennels, Long
Island, New York.
"Ono" came from Oakbrook Kennels in California.

Celinda
and Christie watched "Ono" grow from an adorable puppy
to a stunning young boy. Always possessing flawless movement,
gorgeous type and personality plus. His father Ch. Oakbrook's
Panning for Gold was Samoyed Club of America Grand Futurity Winner. "Ono",
Ch. Oakbrook's Strike it Rich, won the same award as well as SCA Grand Sweepstakes Winner, and SCA Best Bred by Exhibitor. As puppies, "Cricket" & "Ono" first met at the Washington State Specialty where "Cricket" won Best in Specialty Sweepstakes. Their fate was sealed, and they were bred 2 1/2 years later. "Ono" was owned and loved by
Kathy and Leon Ward and Jane and Alan Stevenson.
Ono
won the SCA National Specialty in 2000 and Best of Show in 2001. His untimely
death aboard an American Airlines flight in December 2001 was
a tragic loss to his many admirers and the Samoyed breed.
